About Me

Jessica: I am a Chick On Wheels! Would I rather have a different life in order to be able to walk? That is a hard question to answer. I would like to be able to walk. I would like to be able to put on my own make up, I would like to be able to drive, anywhere I wanted to - drive until I was sick of driving any longer. I would like to be able clean my own room, mess it up, jump on the bed - lay on it - any way I chose. At times I get frustrated, angry, and feel pain that could knock me out - emotionally and physically. But the pain, anger, and frustration is what keeps me going. It motivates me to fight, allows me to learn, to grow, and makes me believe that anything is possible. I haven't experienced much physically, such as sports, running, jumping, kicking, or even screaming as loud as my frustrations have wanted to be heard. But those things don't make me who I am. I am an artist, designer, amateur business woman, girly-girl, aspiring fashionista, platinum blonde, diet coke loving, soon -to -be author! I live to dream. What do you live for?

I cannot count the times I have cursed our lack of urgency. We thought we were young and that there would be time to love well sometime in the future. This is a terrible way to think. It is no way to live, to wait to love.
